Country Report: Bolivia
EAAF conducted two missions to Bolivia, advising the Santa Cruz de la Sierra District Attorney’s Office on forensic aspects of the investigation of Bolivians who disappeared between 1964 and 1982. EAAF also assisted the Association of Families of the Disappeared and Martyrs for National Liberation in the José Luis Ibsen case.

Report 1994-1995
In response to the testimony of Bolivian General Vargas Salinas in 1995 about the place where the remains of Ernesto "Che" Guevara where buried, former Bolivian President Sanchez de Lozada formed a government commission of inquiry. At the request of this commission and of the Association of families of the Dissapeared and Martyrs for the National Liberation of Bolivia ( ASOFAM), EAAF participated in the search for the remains of " Che" and his companions.
Annual Report 1992
The Association of Relatives of the Disappeared Detainees and Martyrs for National Liberation of Bolivia (ASOFAMD) requested technical assistance from EAAF in the so-called, "Trial of Responsibilities"-- cases related to the former military dictatorship from 1980-1981, serving as expert witnesses and conducting an exhumation and analysis of remains.
